I never get tired of saying that I’m from Killeen, Texas and I’m proud of it. I think I have what I get most excited about when talking about the city of Killeen is definitely the activities and events we have for our families here in the city. The coordinators, and staff that come together for the city of Killeen make sure that the community not only enjoys their selves, but just experiences really beautiful moments with friends and family always, and truly warms my heart. I have been told the way I speak about the city of Killeen is overly dramatic, a response is always very simple, "so"!

SEE YOU AT THE MOVIES IN KILLEEN TEXAS

The fact that our city officials continuously, make sure that we have events for families and loved ones is a beautiful thing. Starting June 9 the summer lineup is back with Killeens' free movie in your park. The city of Killeen will show a total of four movies on four Fridays in June and July at the Killeen Athletic Complex. This event is perfect for families who may be a little tight on money due to the fact that all you have to do is bring your own blanket and snacks and enjoy some family-free time.

LET'S ENJOY THE SUMMER AT THE MOVIES

Each one of the movie screenings will take place at the Killeen Athletic Complex located at 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd. and the event festivities will begin at 7:30 PM, the movie will follow shortly after dusk. There will be food, vendors, and free movies. How could you resist?
