The City of Killeen, along with H-E-B, will be hosting the 11th annual Feast of Sharing this year on Thursday, December 11th.

If you'd like to volunteer your time to help feed the masses, the registration is now open. Log on to Killeen Texas dot gov/Volunteer.

This event could not be possible without your help. There will be two shifts with a number of duties from which to choose. The first shift will be from 3 to 6 p.m. The second shift will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Some of the duties that need volunteers will be food preparation and service, greeting, clean up, and children's activities.

Dozens of volunteers are needed to make this event possible. There are two shifts and a number of duties from which to choose. The first shift is from 3 to 6 p.m. The second shift is from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Duties include food preparation and service, greeting, clean up and children’s activities.

You must be at least 14 years old to volunteer. Online registration will be accepted until December 7th, or until all spots are filled.

The Feast of Sharing highlights the ongoing effort to combat hunger by serving free holiday meals to families in our community. The event is open to the public and will include free food, entertainment and activities.
