As I mentioned in another article, I love taking virtual tours of homes for sale on Zillow. It's cool to get a look inside the super expensive homes, and also nice to daydream about which houses I'd want to settle down in some day.

Last time, I looked at a beautiful single-story house on Cottonwood Creek Road in Temple that's priced at just under $1 million. That's a hefty price tag for sure, but the house is beautiful and sits on a patch of land away from crowds. Seems worth it to me.

However, that's not the most expensive house listed in Temple. That distinction belongs to a 7007 square foot mansion on a 6-acre estate on Boutwell Lane.

The house was listed by Teresa McCoy with Covington Real Estate. If you're in the market for a ginormous house with an in-ground pool, dog run, and horse barn, here's her info. Just be ready to cut a check for $999,900 if you decide it's the place for you.

I don't know about you, but I can't even imagine what it would be like to live in a house like this. I grew up dirt poor in a house with no A/C, no refrigerator, and half the floor missing. If I somehow ended up in a beautiful place like this, I'd be worried that someone was going to show up with a camera crew and tell me it was all a prank.

My first thought when I started skimming through the photos was that this place would make a great movie set for any amateur filmmakers in Central Texas, or a perfect set for one of those reality dating shows. It has that otherworldly feel to me.

Anyway, enough jibber-jabber. It's time to look around.
