Gordon Jago: Head coach of the Dallas Sidekicks. Led the team to three championships and earned Coach of the Year honors for each of those years. Went on to become the Commissioner of the WISL and the Executive Director of the Dallas Cup.

Carla Overbeck: Dallas native who her claim to fame as the team captain and MVP of the 1999 US Women’s National Team. Overbeck played in 63 consecutive international soccer games, setting a U.S. record for men and women.
Kyle Rote, Jr.: Proved to the world that American’s could be international soccer stars. Over a seven year run in the NASL he scored 128 goals.
Antonio “Tatu” Pecorari: Signed with the Dallas Sidekicks in 1984. After two decades, Tatu scored 736 goals, 672 assists, and 1,408 points in 557 games. He was voted league MVP six times.
Jeff Agoos: A Texas High School soccer legend, starring on the J.J. Pearce High team. Went on to become a four time All-American at the University of Virginia before playing in the MLS. Won the MLS cup a record five times over his career.
Bill Kinder: Kinder formed the Sting Soccer Club in response to the increasing interest from women in the sport of soccer.
Kenny Cooper Sr.: Dallas Tornado goalkeeper for nine years. Delivered a record 52 shutouts and also won an NASL Championship in 1971.
Schellas Hyndman: Coached at SMU quickly becoming the most successful coach among all sports at SMU. Hyndman never had a losing season and ranked second in career victories among men’s Division One soccer coaches. Hyndman took over at FC Dallas in 2008.
Neil Cohen: Dallas native, graduating from Bryan Adams High School where he was awarded first team Texas High School All-American. Played eight seasons in the NASL. Became the first player to ever represent his country at all three levels: Youth, Olympic, and National.
Richard “Dick” Hall: Signed with the Dallas Tornado’s. Played seven years with the Tornado’s earning several All-Star honors. Made four appearances on the U.S. Men’s National Team.
