The Best & Worst Cities For Singles In Texas For 2018
"Cuffing season" as we know it is in full effect and if you're still searching for love, you may be searching for it in all the wrong places depending on where you live in Texas.
The website "WalletHub" is back at it again ranking the best and worst cities in Texas for singles in 2018 and it may be time for you to move somewhere else to find your perfect match. The rankings are based on 34 factors including the average cost of dinner and drinks at a restaurant, percentage of the population that's single, other factors including online dating, activities and gym memberships.
Over 182 cities nationwide were ranked but we'll keep it here in the Lone Star State and share with you the best and the worst here.
To no one's surprise Austin leads the way as the city with the highest ranking in the state and 17th overall. Next up is Houston, San Antonio and Dallas all landing in the top 50 on this list while Lubbock is the only other city to make it into the top 100 overall.
Now for the worst. Brownsville finished dead last as the worst overall in the NATION not just in Texas. Laredo, Amarillo and El Paso and the Dallas Metroplex cities of Garland, Irving, Arlington, Plano and Grand Prairie all ranked better than Brownsville but all fell in from 100 to 182 nationally.
So if you're still looking for your the next person that's going to ruin your life, pack up and move to Austin or Dallas but stay out of the suburbs.
