If you know me, you know I adhere to the belief that there’s not much you can say bad about Texas. I’ve lived in this great state most of my life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Texans usually take pride in our home's accomplishments, culture, and things like our Dallas Cowboys, barbecue, and you can’t mention Tex-Mex cuisine without Tex in it.

I’ve noticed in the last couple of years that a lot of out-of-town people have been moving to Texas. When I asked a family friend why she moved from California to the Lone Star State, she simply told me it was safer here. I was almost certain that she moved here for SXSW and better tacos, but hey, a win is a win.
