Prices at Texas grocery stores seem to going up and up and up, without any end in sight. We've all lamented the price of eggs at least once this year right? But now, there might be some relief in the future if Texans download this one app.
What New App From Texas Is Helping Residents Save Money?
As reported WFAA, the mastermind behind this app in none other than a police officer from the Lone Star State. His name is Michael Waldroup, and WFAA reports that he's be affiliated with law enforcement for close to 18 years. But how does the app named "Grocery Dealz" actually work?
Well, simply put, according to Waldroup in a comment to WFAA: “Our formulas do the magic behind the scenes...It shows the user what the total balance is and the itemized breakdowns of every single retailer.” So, it is very thorough to put it simple.

So, overall, how much can a Texan expect to save using the app?
What Is Most Someone Could Save On Buying Food Using The App?
WFAA reports that some users of the app could find themselves enjoying up to a 20% less hit on the wallet. All a person has to do is well, pay attention to what's on their list of things to buy. But for Waldroup, it's much more about than just saving money.
Waldroup told WFAA that while working as police officer, he's seen situations where the individual in question needs help. Per Waldroup: “You’ll go to a call and it looks like this family’s struggling...and we’ll go buy them stuff.”
Waldroup also has experience with business, according to WFAA, so the app will have support when it launches soon.
