Texas Man Arrested for Heinously Abusing One-Year-Old

Police say a Texas man has admitted to investigators that he punched his one-month-old child more than seven times in the ribs, abdomen, and head.

KBTX-TV in Lubbock reports that Gary Lee Fox, a 20-year-old from Lubbock, was upset the child would not stop screaming, and that the mother was sleep and he had to care for the child. He reportedly admitted to police that he violently squeezed his son's testicles as he changed his diaper.When the mother awoke, she found the child unresponsive and police were called to the hospital to which the baby was transported.

Now the infant is now in child protective services custody.Fox was arrested Tuesday and remained in the Lubbock County Jail Wednesday after being charged with injury to a child knowingly or intentionally and causing severe bodily injury.
