Drivers have discovered that Valero and Circle K stations in certain regions of the state offer some of the lowest gas prices. Meanwhile, the national average is currently $3.04 per gallon for regular unleaded, which reflects a one-cent increase from last week and a four-cent increase compared to the same period last year. These price changes are linked to rising demand and decreasing supplies, especially as we approach the holiday travel season. AAA Texas estimates that around 9.1 million Texas residents will travel 50 miles or more during the holidays, with an impressive 90% choosing to travel by car.
