Reports say that the young couple was anxious to get married and begin their lives with one another.  The two had actually planned a large Christmas ceremony for their friends and family, but wanted to make their marriage official a little bit sooner.

Morgan was driving his wife, Boudreaux, in a 2004 Chevrolet exiting the private drive of Justice of the Peace Joy Dubose-Simonton onto the highway when suddenly they collided with a 2015 Ford F-250 pick-up truck that was pulling a trailer with a tractor on board.

The groom's mother and sister were following behind the couple and witnessed the horrific scene first-hand. Harley's mother, Kennia Morgan, desperately tried to save her son and daughter-and-law, but their vehicle had flipped multiple times, and the couple died on impact. The driver of the pick-up truck was unharmed.

Morgan and Boudreaux were high school sweethearts, and we're heading to the county courthouse to file their marriage license, and later celebrate with cake at the groom's mother's house.

The same Justice of the Peace that had just married the couple arrived on the scene to act as coroner and pronounce the pair as deceased.

Two young lives lost in an instant. The family is encouraging others to appreciate every moment you may have with your loved ones because it could all be gone too soon.
