Texas Among States Recalling Almond Milk Containing Actual Milk
Stop and check your fridge because that Almond Milk that you have could be real milk!
The Food and Drug Administration released a statement yesterday announcing a voluntary recall of refrigerated Blue Diamond Vanilla Almond Breeze almond milk because the product may contain milk, an allergen not listed on the label.
HP Hood LLC is the parent company that's voluntarily recalling the product and while the product is safe to consume, if you have a milk allergy or sensitivity to milk you run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if you consume these products.
The recall only applies to refrigerated Vanilla Almond Breeze almond milk with a use-by date of September 2, 2018 with the following identifying markers:
