Not so Sweet Grandson

On October 27, police were dispatched to a West 7th Street apartment where Brown's grandmother reported that her grandson had just attacked her.

Brown allegedly requested to use his grandmother's phone and was denied. Brown is said to have become so enraged that he pinned his grandmother's arms down on the bed so he could take the phone from her and then proceeded to knee her in the hip.

It Gets Worse

Unfortunately, police say Brown didn't stop there. The grandmother told authorities that her grandson then unplugged her oxygen machine and threatened to to kill her with a fan if she told anyone what he'd done.

Brown is said to have run into the woods and hid until police left.

The Next Victim

The next day, a warrant was obtained for Brown on charges of assault. When authorities arrived to arrest Brown, he refused to answer the door. At the time, his girlfriend was inside the apartment with him, and she reportedly found herself as his next victim. Police say Brown didn't want to risk arrest, so held his girlfriend hostage with a butterfly knife held to her throat.

Brown eventually released his girlfriend so that he could find a place to hide from authorities. The girlfriend ran outside to police and let them know that Brown was hiding inside an air duct with the weapon.

The Big House

Brown was arrested and is currently being held in the Bi-State Jail. Police discovered that he also had a felony warrant for Credit/Debit Card Abuse of an Elderly Person from another jurisdiction. His total bond has been set at $350,000.
