Temple Parents, Take Note: Free Summer Meals are Coming!
According to the Temple Daily Telegram, this summer the Temple Independent School District (TISD) will be offering free meals to children up to age 18. This initiative is made possible through a partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Texas Department of Agriculture. It's heartwarming to see a program like this in place, especially when so many children face food insecurity. Unfortunately, not every child has access to nutritious meals outside of the school year, and for some, school lunch may be the only guaranteed meal they receive each day.

Save Money on Summer Groceries with Temple ISD's Free Meals
We often take for granted the simple act of having a meal—something as basic as eating lunch can make a huge difference in a child’s ability to learn, grow, and feel secure. In many cases, families are doing their best, but rising costs and limited resources make it hard to provide three meals a day. This summer meal program is a powerful reminder that when a community comes together, real change can happen.
Good News for Temple Families: Free Summer Meals Begin Next Week
TISD deserves recognition for stepping up and meeting this critical need. They are not only feeding children but also sending a strong message that every child in the community matters. You have to give credit where it’s due—bravo to the Temple Independent School District for making a real difference.
