Talk About it Tuesday

Happy Tuesday,

I look forward to Tuesday for many reasons, but one, in particular, is T-Mobile Tuesdays.

Every Tuesday, T-Mobile pushes out prizes and discounts on the T-Mobile Tuesday App.

One discount I look out for is the 10 cents off per gallon to shells gas station.

Tuesday, a jury found former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin guilty of all three charges stemming from the killing of George Floyd, an unarmed Black man, last year.

Even though this a huge victory for police reform, we have a lot of work to do.

Today is 4/20, and even though I don't partake in or celebrate this particular day, I will tune in to the verzuz battle between Redman and Method Man.

Don't forget the next Verzuz battle between Xscape and SWV will be May 8th, the day before Mother's day.

Today marks the 70th Birthday of Luther Vandross, and Google did a great doodle to commemorate the late singer's birthday.

Now tomorrow marks the 5th Anniversary of the Purple one Prince's unexpected death; I remember vividly when I got the news. Our Midday On-Air Personality had to break the news over the radio.

It reminds me of when I got the news that Michael Jackson had Passed away, and I heard on one of our sister stations.

I was in disbelief of both deaths.

I would listen to both artists growing up, and I even mimic Michael's dance moves.

I will truly miss both artists.
