I don’t know about you Belton, Texas, but I love a good taco. The wait is finally over, because as of this week (Monday, to be precise), Taco Town officially opened its doors.

MEET THE OWNERS

Carmen and Orlando DeLeon, the owners of the establishment, were so very nice to allow us to go in and get a tour of the restaurant at 1224 N Main St. When you first walk into the building you can smell the aroma of amazing Hispanic cuisine.

CHANGE UP YOUR TACO TUESDAY ROUTINE

I was able to talk to a couple of first-time customers to Taco Town, and they enthusiastically assured me that they would definitely be coming back here. When you walk into the building you can tell that this is a family-owned eatery that appreciates and manages to provide fantastic food and an even more fantastic atmosphere.

YOU'VE GOT OPTIONS AT TACO TOWN IN BELTON

This was not like any other Mexican restaurant that I���ve been to before. It was very modern and gave me a vibe as if I was in Austin - not one of the overcrowded areas, but more like a nice oasis where you always find the best hidden gems. Every employee at Taco Town has a smile on their face and is enthusiastic about helping anyone who walks in. No matter how good your food is, you've got to have great customer service if you want to stick around. From the looks of things, Taco Town'll be around for a long while.

Taco Town food is made to order with fresh ingredients and signature spices in their meals. If you are in the Belton area or just any part of Central Texas, I would highly recommend visiting this establishment.

Orlando and Carmen would be more than happy to welcome you with open arms. There’s nothing I love more than going into a restaurant and feeling like I am with family, and that’s exactly the vibe that Taco Town gives.
