A real-life story involving two flamingos is giving me Life vibes.

The movie "Life" starring Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence from 1999, that is.

The comedy classic was about two men who were wrongly accused of a murder that happened in the 1930s. The two served over 60 years in prison before they finally escaped in their 90s by faking their own deaths after a fire.

These flamingos who escaped from a Zoo back in 2005 reminded me of the movie.

What Happened?

Back in 2005, a storm happened and two flamingos escaped a Kansas Zoo.

Zookeepers weren't able to clip the wings of the birds and that's how they were able to escape.

Now, 17 years, later one of them has been found.

According to USA TODAY, an African flamingo known as 492, because of the number on its leg band, was captured on vide, 3 weeks ago at Port Lavaca, Texas at Rhodes Point at Cox Bay.

This Bird Makes The Rounds

Number 492 has been spotted numerous other times in the past few years.

The bird has reportedly been spotted in Louisiana, Wisconsin, and Texas again about two years ago.

The flamingo has been known to flirt with other flamingos and freeload before packing up his stuff and flying to other states.

(It's hard out here for a flamingo, ya know.)

Where Did The Missing Flamingo Originally Come From?

The flamingo was born in Africa but sent to the Kansas Zoo in 2004.

Zoo officials reportedly never bothered to recapture the bird known for its long neck and legs and pink feathers because it would "disturb other wildlife".

Other flamingos should be on alert when falling in love with this bird. He apparently is a heartbreaker and will just get up and fly away from their hearts.

Remember These? Here Are 10 Great Restaurants We Miss in Temple, Texas

Just the other day I was driving past Clem Mikeska's in Temple for lunch and a memory popped in my head about Wes's Burger Shack More, and the former business that used to have delicious pizza.

I remember going there for lunch just a few years ago and taking my entire hour to take advantage of that pizza buffet! The different variety of pizza stuck out to me. I even remember the game area!

A few weeks ago, we asked listeners on Facebook about restaurants they missed that aren't around anymore in Temple, Texas.

Boy did we receive a great response!

So now it's time to reminisce about old breakfast spots, taco joints, Chinese and Mexican restaurants, and lunchtime favorites we used to frequent in Temple.

Based on your responses here are 10 Great Restaurants We Miss in Temple, Texas.

(Notes from editor Aaron Savage, who grew up in the Temple area and frequented most of these places.)

Cab 7 in Killeen, Texas Has A Long, Interesting History Check Out These Pictures

Cab 7 is definitely a nostalgic spot for the good people of Killeen, but there's more history and intrigue than most have probably imagined. To get the details, I spoke with Amy, a Cab 7 employee very familiar with the place's interesting past, who filled me in on some of the details.

In the 1950s through the 1970s, Cabaret 7 was known as a country-western bar for people in the Killeen- Fort Hood area.

For a number of years in the 1980s and 1990s, Cabaret 7 was a very popular place to hang out and shoot pool, which is now known as Cab 7.

She says over the years the club has gone "forgotten" here in Killeen.
