President Of Texas Hospital Resigns After Dead Bodies Are Experimented On
Sylvia Trent Adams, the former president of the University of North Texas Health Science Center, recently stepped down four months after an investigation revealed the facility had not been contacting families before experimenting on the dead bodies of their loved ones for medical research, according to NBC News. The University of North Texas System Board of Regents stated that Sylvia Trent Adams accepted her resignation. However, oddly enough, the board’s third paragraph praised her for her dedication, respect, and integrity.

Former UNT Health Science President Resigns Over Unclaimed Bodies Scandal
Families are seeking answers and have a right to ask questions. Unfortunately, an email was sent to the former president, but Andy North, a spokesperson for the health center, stated that Sylvia Trent Adams’ reason for leaving was for personal reasons and did not respond to a request for comment. Over five years, the center reportedly received more than 2,000 unclaimed bodies from Dallas and Tarrant counties. Disturbingly, medical students at the center used these bodies, along with other groups that conducted dissections, including major biotech companies and the U.S. Army, which helped bring in about $2.5 million a year to the center. This was all done without consent from the deceased, and in many cases, without the knowledge of any surviving family members.
