President Obama & FLOTUS Coming To Austin For SXSW

As The President wraps up his final term in office, it seems like he has a "bucket list" of sorts to complete and one of them is attending the annual SXSW (South By Southwest) Interactive, Film & Music Conference in Austin this month and he's bringing the First Lady along!

According to the SXSW website, The Obamas will be keynote speakers at 2 separate events, the first features President Obama sitting down with Evan Smith of The Texas Tribune for a conversation about civic engagement in the 21st Century on March 11th.

The second event happens on March 16th when Michelle Obama kicks off the music conference with a discussion of the "Let Girls Learn" initiative which aims to break barriers for the 62 million girls around the world who are not in school today, more than half of whom are adolescent.

Considering that I'm going to be in attendance this year, I hope I can catch a glimpse of the First Family before they leave office, but considering the way AUSTIN traffic works...I'll keep dreaming.
