Official: Big Changes Now Coming To Walmart In Texas
The Walmart Plus program of pick up and delivery has been such an overwhelming success that the retail giant has been able to report incredible revenue numbers. Walmart has now turned around and spent a great deal of money on remodeling their stores in hopes you actually come back to shopping inside one of their Killeen-Temple, Texas area stores, or any other store near you.
With the exception of making a return or picking up a custom order from the bakery, deli, or other specialty department, the overall foot traffic at the average Walmart store has gone down significantly since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Walmart is also implementing other in store benefits in hopes to once again see those fancy and costly self checkout machines putting their customers to work.
What changes can we expect at Walmart stores in Texas?
Of course some in store customers are already complaining about some of the Walmart policy changes that are happening. I am sure it won't be long before some of those shopping roadblocks will be defeated courtesy of the latest Tik-Tok hack, or some other loophole.
Walmart is widening their sensory sensitive shopping windows.
One policy change that I am very pleased to see implemented is Walmart plans to expand their sensory friendly hours from the Saturday test times to each morning from 8 AM to 10 AM. As the father of a special needs child, it is great to see this accommodation and the earlier in the day is always best.
