
New York Puts Out Alert Regarding Travel To The State Of Texas
The state of Texas always has visitors from every state from across the nation. But recent developments in the state have caused many to worry about coming to the Lone Star State. Here's what is known at the time of writing.
What Is Causing The Worries For One State?
The issue stems from the measles outbreak that is currently plaguing the state. At the time, cases continue to grow in the state, worrying many. With multiple cases, some even causing death, a lot of eyes are on Texas.
Plenty of concerns have been raised in regards to the growing amount of cases. Due to this, people have looked at the Lone Star State in different light. One of those states is none other than New York.

Why Is New York Notifying People To Watch Out When Traveling To Texas?
According to The Street, New York is telling residents take heed if they are traveling to Texas. Dr. James McDonald, the New York State Health Commissioner, said the following about Measles:
"Measles is more common in different places and exposure during travel is something we need to consider...It's important that New Yorkers ensure they are up-to-date regarding being immunized against measles in some cases measles is as close as a car ride away."
In addition, New York is encouraging people traveling "to ensure they are fully vaccinated against measles before international travel or travel to an area in the U.S. experiencing an outbreak."
