I've been living in the Great State of Texas since 2002 and I've literally seen almost every square inch of this state from my days of truck driving before radio. The crazy thing about it is, I've never really STOPPED to look around at some of the things our state has to offer. So this year, I've made it my business to start checking out some of the landmarks and sights Texas has to offer and share them with yall! I'm calling it #MelzTXBucketList.

Kicking it off with my recent trip to San Antonio. Having visited there several times already, I've never been to The Alamo so, spent a few hours checking it out and saw some of the other spots SA has to offer. While my main problem with our visit was nothing seems to stay open late there, (I'm a night owl) its still a great city for a nice weekend runaway.

What's next? Well, I've got a LOT to see, SXSW is around the corner, there's also the Insane Inflatable 5K, this is going to be a fun year! I'll keep you posted, but here's a hint:
