See Chip + Joanna Gains Now Sold Epic Texas Fixer Upper
If you are a fan of the Magnolia Network TV series Fixer Upper, and let's all be honest that pretty much everyone in the Killeen-Temple, Texas area is very proud to be neighbors, or at least, neighbor adjacent in Central Texas to Chip and Joanna Gaines. Well, if you have been following along with the show, you will be very familiar with the Magnolia house in McGregor, and know that after it was documented throughout season 3 of Fixer Upper that it has been used as an AirBnB since 2015.
How much was the price of the Magnolia House in McGregor, Texas?
When it went was originally listed just after Labor Day in September, the asking price according to Zillow, was almost $1 million, or more than triple what it was purchased for in 2014. I don't necessarily want to try to backtrack all of the money that was invested into the property, but even if it was in the neighborhood of $250,000, then selling this property in the high nines would still net almost double what was originally invested.
What exactly does a $1 million dollar Magnolia House feature?
As you can see from the images, the property actually features the main house, and then an additional carriage house for a grand total of 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. These houses were both available to lease together or separately, and it is unknown if the new buyer plans to continue making them available.
The home is believed to have sold on November 21st, so somebody is about to host one heck of a holiday party.
