The Killeen Animal Center at 3518 E. Rancier, celebrates our fur babies and free adoptions. The ribbon-cutting will take place at 10 AM and the community can participate in the pet adoption from May 2 to May 4 from 12 PM to 6 PM to celebrate the grand opening. This location is familiar to individuals who live on the north side of Killeen as the former East Lake veterinarian clinic, but with the help of  Fort Cavazo the Killeen animal center is approximately 6000 ft.² and will be used for adoption operations.

This facility has 29 dog adoption, kennels, and cat adoption cages. If you and your family are looking for a new fur baby, this is where you want to be. For more information on how to adopt, foster, or even volunteer please visit
