The City of Killeen, Texas, has issued a release announcing a scheduled Boil Water Notice for properties on Lake Ann Avenue, 42nd Street, and Lake Road.

Lake Ann Avenue, 42nd Street, Lake Road: Killeen’s Latest Boil Water Notice Explained
Water crews will be in the area to isolate a water main in order to install a water isolation valve and replace a fire hydrant. Crews will remain on-site until all repairs are complete and water service is fully restored.
Once the repair work is finished, water quality samples will be collected the following day, with results expected within 24 to 48 hours.
URGENT KILLEEN NEWS: Boil Water Notice Scheduled for Lake Road and 42nd Street
The notice takes effect on October 29th. Residents in the affected areas are directed to boil water vigorously for at least two minutes prior to consumption until the notice is officially lifted and the water samples confirm there is no contamination.The public will be notified when the notice is lifted through the City of Killeen website and the Boil Water Notice Hotline at (254) 501-6515. The City of Killeen appreciates everyone’s patience and cooperation during this essential repair work.
