A Killeen ISD high school student has been arrested after a physical altercation with a teacher.

KXXV's Caroline Sutton reports that on Tuesday, November 6, 17-year-old Sir Josiah Ezekiel Vaughn picked up a teacher and slammed him to the ground when the teacher tried to break up a fight between Vaughn and another student. Per a police affidavit obtained by KXXV, the Gateway High School teacher suffered injuries to the head, back, and thigh from the altercation.

After reviewing the surveillance tapes, KISD police arrested Vaughn.

Bell County Jail records indicate Vaughn was booked at 11:47 AM Tuesday and charged with assault on a public servant. His bond was set at $100,000.
