
Killeen Man Allegedly Scammed Seniors Out of Thousands
One individual from Killeen, Texas, Bryan Brundidge is facing legal consequences for his actions to senior citizens in the state. What did he do? Here's what is known at the time of writing.
What Did Brundidge Do To Senior Citizens In Texas?
Per KXII, Brundidge was taken into custody after he was purportedly involved in many different cases of fraud. In total, it is alleged that he was taking part in seven. It was, as reported by KXII, stated that he illegally took $200,000 from an unspecified amount of elderly individuals.
KXII reports that the ages of unidentified victims were between 65 to 91. KXII also revealed the ways Brundidge fooled people:
- Contacted victims through fake emails claiming to be from companies like PayPal
- Fabricated refund errors and pressured victims to withdraw and give cash
- Used encrypted messaging apps like WhatsApp to coordinate scams and conceal communications

Is The Exact Number Of Victims Affected By Brundidge Known?
KXII states that while Brundidge is potentially involved in seven cases, there may be more persons that he has affected. Law enforcement from the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division is requesting that if you know somebody that was taken advantage of, to alert the office.
In the meantime, KXII provided tips to avoid fraudulent siutations:
- Do not allow strangers to access your devices remotely
- Never trust unsolicited emails or calls requesting money or financial information
- Remember that legitimate companies will never send someone to your home to collect money
- Report suspicious contacts to your local law enforcement immediately
- Verify through official websites or customer service lines - not numbers provided in the email
