Killeen Closure Planned Starting Thursday, Feb. 15

According to the city of Killeen Department of Public Works, transportation, division, and closing will take place in the city. Coach Drive through Chestnut to Silver Hill Drive on Thursday will be closed from February 15 until Tuesday, February 20 excluding the weekend from 7 AM to 3:30 PM each day as long as the weather permits it.

There will be work personnel and equipment that will need to enter the roadway to complete the work and also a lane and full road closure could occur. A series of traffic control devices will be in place and the city's crew will have traffic detour around the worksite.

The city of Killeen also says that motorists should anticipate delays and also ask to use caution but most importantly, obey traffic, and control devices, and seek alternative routes if possible. The city of Killeen apologizes for any inconvenience as a result of this work and appreciates the city's cooperation.
