Killeen City Offices Closed Monday for Veterans Day

City offices in Killeen, Texas will remain closed on Monday, November 12th, for Veterans Day.

Emergency services and garbage collection will run on normal schedule, but if you are out and about you will notice the Killeen Transfer Station and Killeen Recycling Center will stay closed.

Lion's Club Park Family Recreation Center will open from 5 AM to 5 PM. Killeen libraries will not be open. All city offices will be back to normal hours on Tuesday.

The city's Veterans Day Parade will get underway on November 12th at 11 AM. Click here to see a PDF of the parade route. The Parade route starts at N. College St. and W. Ave D to N. 8th St, to E. Sprott St, to N. Gray St. to W. Ave C and ending at N. College St. Bleachers will be located at Gray St next to Killeen Library.

Many Killeen residents will stop by the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery that day as well. If you have never been, take a look at the video below.
