
Good News: Boil Water Notice Lifted for E. Rancier Ave. and Patton Rd. In Killeen
The City of Killeen has released a statement announcing that the boil water notice issued for the following addresses has now been lifted:
1806 E. Rancier Ave., 702, 704, 708, 710, 802, 804, 806, 808, and 18 Patton Dr., as well as 1608 E. Rancier Ave. (Killeen Elementary School).

Water Advisory Ends for Killeen Residents on E. Rancier Avenue and Patton Road
Residents in the affected area were previously advised to boil all water before consumption due to a potential contamination risk. This precaution remained in place until water sampling results confirmed that the water was safe for use. According to the city, as part of the ongoing Water Rehabilitation Program, private contractors performed work in the area and installed a new water line. This project required a temporary interruption of water services to the listed properties.

Water quality samples were collected following the completion of the work. The results, received the next day, showed no signs of contamination, allowing the boil water notice to be lifted.
