You have probably noticed already, but our news partner KWTX informs us that we will have a windy night and it will stay gusty tomorrow!
Earlier today, northwest winds were between 15 and 20 mph and afternoon winds could potentially reach between 40 and 50 mph.
Whoa!!!!
Sean says the highest winds should be closer to the metroplex than Austin and west of I 35.
You are suggested to take caution driving on highways and to make sure to anchor down and move anything that could be easily blown around outside your home.
According to KWTX, Friday's weather will be a little lighter.
Reportedly wind speeds should be lower but still fairly gusty.
The winds Friday are expected to sustain between 15 and 20 MPH with wind gusts between 25 and 35 MPH.
We had multiple callers reporting power outages in Killeen, the high winds actually took B106 off the air for a few minutes our sister station MYKISS1031 was also off the air.
Please be careful out there yall!
