What Business Is Moving To Texas After Being In Kentucky Forever?
According to the Associated Press, KFC has made the executive decision to move it's offices from Louisville, Kentucky to Plano, Texas. In addition, 100 employees are making the move as well. This wasn't received well however by the Governor of the state, Andy Beshear:
“I am disappointed by this decision and believe the company’s founder would be, too...This company’s name starts with Kentucky, and it has marketed our state’s heritage and culture in the sale of its product.”
Beshear made it known he also wanted for Yum Brands to rethink the choice. At the time of writing, David Gibbs, the CEO of Yum, stated this about the movement:
“These changes position us for sustainable growth and will help us better serve our customers, employees, franchisees and shareholders."
