Katt Williams has been sentenced to five years of probation stemming from a gun and drug case this past March, reports TMZ.

Williams avoided jail time after he pled no contest Thursday in Hall County, GA to assault and battery charges from an incident this past March. The comedian was arrested for guns and drugs at his Georgia home after his bodyguard alleged he beat him with a baseball for refusing to become involved in criminal activity. When cops arrived they found weed and firearms.

According to TMZ, Williams probation comes with a lot of restrictions, however. He must pay thousands of dollars in fines as well as submit to treatment and evaluations for anger management, substance abuse and impulse control. He also has to stay away from the bodyguard who claimed he was assaulted.  He also reportedly has to surrender all the guns cops found, plus the almost $16,000 they seized.

Williams has been in and out of violent trouble for the past few years. This past August, his tour partner filed a lawsuit against him, claiming that he beat and kidnapped her and is suing him for $3 million. That case has yet to be resolved.
