This week's "Throwback Jam" comes from the year 1971 with a classic from the legendary Betty Wright about that woman that's right around the corner if you don't take care of your man: "The Clean Up Woman".

Believe it or not, but Wright was only 17 when she recorded this song and just 9 days after her 18th birthday, she picked up a Gold record for "Clean Up Woman" which crossed over to the pop charts and became a Top 10 hit and her signature song.

Her song has since been sampled over 30 times in other hit R&B songs including "Real Love" by Mary J. Blige, and "I Wanna Sex You Up" by Color Me Badd. Betty Wright still is performing this classic song today and you can even follow her on Twitter!
