Why Was One Austin, Texas Teacher Called Into A Meeting For This?
(Austin, Texas) - We truly don't thank teachers enough for what they do. They watch our little ones, make sure they learn necessary skills in life, and most importantly, guide them to accomplish whatever goals they have as they grow up.
There is of course a lot planning that goes into a single school day, and there's a lot that one educator has to do in that set amount of time. Meeting with school management can also be included with the day. Sometimes that meeting however isn't very pleasant.
Sometimes the reasoning for the meeting is rather confusing, as one teacher in Central Texas discovered recently.
One Reason That May Leave Many Texans Scratching Their Head
On Tik Tok, one user described the reason she was called into a meeting with administration. The user, Soph4President, detailed it in the corresponding video. We'll examine it frame by frame.
First, we see the teacher and the meeting details in the top left of the video:
That's a lot of topics for a meeting. Communication Methods and Dress Code seem rather interesting don't they? Let's move on to see further details.
Whew! This is a longer detailed list than expected for sure. But is there anything rather out of place?
To be honest, not responding to emails or Teams messages seems kind of silly doesn't it? It's possible that the message didn't really need a response. If it was a simple "please do this," it could've been easily understood right?
Let's keep looking because there's got to be one item that seems out of place.
Wait hold on. Teaching students legal and constitutional rights? That's wrong?
The constitution is still taught in schools right? I mean we govern our entire nation by it don't we? We're semi-confused here.
The full video is here to view of course:
