Houston Restaurant Offering Spicy Crawfish Challenge
It's mudbug season all across the South and one Houston restaurant is offering up a challenge that, to the casual crawfish lover, doesn't seem like much but it could leave you burning on the inside!
According to KTRK ABC 13, Houston's Casian Crawfish is offering up a unique challenge, you have 15 minutes to scarf down 2 pounds of crawfish. Sounds simple doesn't it? Well it isn't, because these crawfish are soaked and boiled in one of the hottest spices on Earth, Carolina Reaper pepper!
Complete the challenge and you'll get a refund for the price of the crawfish, a t-shirt and more than likely, a frantic search for bread, milk or ice to calm down your burning stomach. Will you be willing to take the challenge?
