In recent weeks we've been talking a lot about the latest batch of celebrity break-ups and divorces and who should and shouldn't pay alimony. So when this story broke today about Mariah Carey and her break-up with billionaire James Packer, it has proved something I've been trying to point to you guys.

Carey and her fiancee billionaire James Packer have called it quits and according to TMZ, Mariah is now demanding Packer pay her $50 Million since the two of them have broke up.

BUT YALL MAD AT KENDU THO???

For starters, Mariah didn't even marry Mr. Packer so why does she believe she is entitled to money from him? Well, according to the TMZ report, Mariah believes she's losing out on tens of millions of dollars because she had to cancel a tour after an incident that lead to their breakup.

BUT. YALL. MAD. AT. KENDU. THOUGH.

Packer has already allowed Mariah to keep her $10 Million Dollar engagement ring, but that's not enough apparently.

BUT YALL MAD AT KENDU THOUGH?

Why do I keep saying that you ask? Because consider for a moment the following, Mariah DID NOT marry Mr. Packer, Kendu married Mary. Mariah is asking for payment for what exactly, being a girlfriend, while Kendu is asking for spousal support for being a HUSBAND to his WIFE. Notice the double standard yet?

If not, that's fine. But we all have to be brutally honest here, when it comes to love and money, despite what anyone dreamy eyed person tells you, the two are intertwined. Yes, relationships are indeed a lot of hard work, but that doesn't mean you should be COMPENSATED for said work. You've heard the term "labor of love"? Well, if you believe Mariah should be "entitled" to a payment, then you should fully support Kendu and his quest to not only be able to provide for himself in the future, but also, his quest for TRUE EQUALITY.

So for basically asking her "financee" to pay up for "nearly" marrying her, I love you Mariah, but you gotta go see the Bishop, its for your own good!
