Every day, people in the state of Texas eat. It's a part of life after all! Many people also order food to go, but it can be annoying to go and pick up right? Well, for one business, delivery of food will certainly change here in the Lone Star State.

How Is One Company Changing Up Food Deliveries In Texas?

There are a lot of options for one to get food delivered to them in the Lone Star State. The eatery themselves could deliver to food, or a service like Uber Eats. Normally, a driver brings the item to a person's front door, but DoorDash is looking to change that.

Per Restaurant Dive, DoorDash has begun implementation of the usage of drones to deliver food to customers. DoorDash isn't alone in the venture, they have teamed with GoTo Foods to do this. But, which restaurants are being offered in the service?

Which Eateries Are You Able To Get Drone Delivery From In Texas?

According to Restaurant Dive, certain parts of Texas will be the test area. The cities of Frisco, Fort Worth and Plano have been given the green light. The eateries are as follows for each city.

For Frisco, Auntie Anne's Pretzels will be the single eatery. In Fort Worth, Another Auntie Anne's and Jamba will be available for Drone Delivery. As for Plano, McAlister’s Deli and Schlotzsky’s are food options.

Hopefully, this will spread to other parts of the state, specifically Central Texas. Who wouldn't want a local eatery, like Pignetti's, delivered to their house via drone?
