To find out the answer, we turn to the aptly named Dating News. The organization polled 3,000 men to see what they thought was the best choice for food on a first date. The first overall choice is probably familiar to many in the Lone Star State.

Per Dating News, 16% of those asking responded with Chick-Fil-A as the pick they'd go to. Which may be a little surprising to those who were probably thinking of perhaps a more expensive eatery. Coming in second was Dairy Queen, and a tie at third for Pizza Hut and Sonic Drive-In.

In addition to Chick-Fil-A being the number one overall selection overall, data from Texas also showed that Chick-Fil-A took the top spot too. So it looks like the Lone Star State loves Chick-Fil-A on a first date too.

So the next time you're in a Texas Chick-Fil-A, you may see a first date happening!
