FEMA Offers Texas Financial Assistance After Weather Disaster
The last couple of weeks here in Texas have truly been challenging. Tornadoes and severe thunderstorms are the topic of conversation throughout the Great State. Recently, we released articles on the after-effects of a tornado touching down in Temple, Texas here, which will leave your mouth open.
WHAT IS NEXT FOR TEXAS?
To be fair this is not one of those incidents where you could properly prepare for a national disaster this weather caught everyone by surprise. As Central Texas tries to build the areas back up and back to everyday life, FEMA has also stepped in and allowed Bell County to receive Individual Assistance. Red Cross shelters, and local agencies that assist you with emergency management resources to reimburse households for food, and spoiled groceries during power outages.

According to FEMA, a questionnaire takes about 30 minutes and you will need to take down some information so please have a paper and/or your tablet/laptop near you and call disaster assistance.
