Recent videos on social media show a man in Texas scaring dealership workers and hitting very high top speeds during test drives. How are dealerships in the state trying to alert others of this person's actions? Here's what is known.
How Did This Begin In The State Of Texas?
According to CBS News Texas, car sellers in Texas began to notice a trend. Some sellers in the Lone Star State began reporting that one driver wasn't following rules on the roadway and dangerously driving during a test of the vehicle. This became so prominent that a notice was put out about this person.
In the summer of 2024, the Texas Automobile Dealers Association made car dealerships in the state about the individual. The person, named Ahmer Saeed on Instagram, was shown in multiple videos driving recklessly with workers of the dealership in the car.

One general manager of a dealership in Hurst, Matt Ducote, said of Saeed's actions:
"There are other people's lives at risk...You can see him doing this out on the streets...so it's just an unsafe situation when someone is driving recklessly like that."
How Many Video Have Been Posted Of Saeed Driving Dangerously?
On Saeed's Instagram, one can see multiple videos of his driving during a test. One example shows a salesperson audibly saying they are freaked out by the driving. Another one shows a salesman frustrated that Saeed wasn't listening to instructions, and telling him to take the car back to the dealership.
When CBS News Texas reached out to Saeed, he did not respond. However, a video was posted by Saeed states he claims "the cars are completely fine, they drive fine, so no provable damage has been done to the cars." CBS News Texas also reports that even though police were tipped off about Saeed, but no reports have been filed.
