BREAKING NEWS: Temple High School on Hard Lockdown due to suspicious package

Temple High School was placed first on a hard lockdown, then later a soft lockdown Wednesday morning due to a suspicious bag left on campus.

Robin Battershell, the school superintendent said a bag was found but wasn't able to confirm what was in it.

A spokesperson for Temple Police said no vehicles were allowed onto campus and they were still investigating the package.

At 10:43 AM, Temple ISD's Twitter account indicated that the soft lockdown had been lifted.
