Black Music Month: Bobby Brown Releases “Don’t Be Cruel”

I'm quite sure it's no coincidence that Bobby Brown's new memoir "Every Little Step" was named from one of his biggest songs from his biggest selling album "Don't Be Cruel" which was released on this day (June 20th) in 1988.

"Don't Be Cruel" was a crossover masterpiece selling over 12 million copies worldwide making it the best selling album OVERALL in 1989 (for all you kids who say "When was Bobby Brown the 'King of R&B'?). The album produced 5 classic singles including "Don't Be Cruel", "My Prerogative", "Roni", "Every Little Step" and "Rock Wit'cha".
