We are on the second day of the Derek Chauvin trial of the murder of George Floyd. I hope and pray the outcome will be one Floyd's family can accept.

May 8th at the Harker Heights E-center, it's the Mother's Day weekend soul fest starring Raheem Devaughn and Ro James. I hung out with Ro James when he came into town to open for Maxwell on his tour. The really cool, laid-back guy ended up hitting a few downtown bars after the show. I look forward to seeing them perform.
