A flesh-eating bacteria is lurking nationwide, including in the great state of Texas according to the Daily Mail. The threat of this bacteria should be taken very seriously, especially because this is a threat that cannot be seen. The bacteria can eat the body from the inside out and can find its home in our sand, ocean, water, rivers, and even lakes. Even when accidentally swallowing beach or lake water, the bacteria can be severely dangerous and cause diarrhea, nausea, limb amputations, and possibly, in the worst cases, you could die.
