At this point, I’m beginning to wonder if should I start preparing myself to learn how to grow my food and buy my animals because it’s beginning to get scary. According to News Week, it’s about to get a lot scarier. There was a dairy recall on certain products that was severely hazardous to Texans.
OVER A MILLION DAIRY PRODUCTS ARE RECALLED IN TEXAS
Several whey and lactose products were supposed to go to restaurants and Food manufacturers were recalled right after the items were shipped across the country and aboard. May 1 the first recall was 1,726,910 pounds of dairy products that were classified as a class one risk level. This means the consumption of this particular contaminated product can cause serious adverse health and the consequences could also be death.
WHAT BACTERIA COULD KILL TEXANS?
Salmonella is a bacteria or an infection that usually lives in the intestinal tracks of animals, including birds, and is usually transmitted to humans by eating food with animal feces. Over 30,000 cases of salmonella are reported in the United States. Diarrhea, fevers, and stomach cramps are the usual symptoms of salmonella and could last from six hours to six days. Usually this extremely contagious virus is making its rounds all through the great state and again has been leveled up to possibly even deadly for some individuals. There are no updates on when the recall and Texans are told to be very cautious when purchasing any dairy products in the state.
