Could it be that we have reached the point in American society that the madness in the picture below could be a thing of the past?

"Black Friday" Marks Start Of Holiday Shopping Season

Just days after two of the nation's largest retailers, Wal-Mart and Target, announced plans to close their stores on Thanksgiving Day to give employees time off to spend with their families and not deal with crazy shoppers, Best Buy has announced that they are following suit according to KXXV.

Other retailers that have stores in Central Texas that have joined the "Close On Thanksgiving" movement includes Academy Sports & Outdoors, Dick's Sporting Goods, Hobby Lobby, Home Depot, and Sam's Club just to name a few.

So you can relax on Thanksgiving Day and enjoy spending time with your loved ones and worry about scoring a 50 inch Flat Screen TV for $100 on Black Friday after you've had the turkey and stuffing with the family this year.
