Bells, Texas Is Home To A Fenway Park Tribute

It is once again baseball season not only in Texas, but the whole nation as well. Everybody has their favorite team, but not everybody is able to see the stadium they play in. Unless they visit Bells, Texas for this specific team.

What MLB Team Has A Tribute In The State Of Texas?

With 30 teams in Major League Baseball, and two of them being in Texas, one would think the stadium would pay homage to the Astros or the Rangers. Instead, neither of those teams are the recipient of the tribute. Rather, it's a team up north that is getting recognized.

The team is none other than the Boston Red Sox. Yes, there's a small Fenway Park in Texas:

How Much Attention Does The Small Stadium Get?

Stephen Newton, who along with his wife Lana, have the park on their front lawn, told NBC DFW:

"We have had messages from as far away as New Zealand, people saying it’s the coolest thing they’ve ever seen, people saying they are flying in to play whiffle ball in your front yard, 'Field of Dreams' father-son moments."

However, that's not all Stephen wants for the area:

"We want to do more of the same. Our mission is to impact high school kids positively. One hundred twenty kids drive here every Sunday...We want more people to come out and play the greatest game in a fun, safe environment."
