Bad-Ass Texas Mayor Gets Revenge On 12-Foot Alligator
She just became a great-grandmother last week and earlier this year in May, she was sworn in as Mayor of the small town of Livingston, about an hour northeast of Houston. Now, she's gone viral for exacting revenge on an alligator that killed her miniature horse 3 years ago.
According to the Star-Telegram, Cochran knew the 12-foot, 580 pound behemoth lived in a river that runs along her ranch, and decided that since gator hunting season is officially underway, now was the time for the big payback. She placed a dead raccoon in her yard on Monday and waited for him. When he took the bait, one shot to the head, and the gator was on the way to the taxidermist.
