Whataburger is one of the things that everyone associates with the Lone Star State. The eatery started in Texas of course, and over the years many have had their favorites added to the menu. But, this new item might feel like the Wild West is returning.

How Many Different Items Have There Been At Whataburger?

There are simply too many to count over the years that have been placed on the big orange restaurant's menu. With so many, some have disappeared off the menu after a certain period of time. If you look at any comments on a Whataburger social media post, you're bound to find somebody asking for the return of a certain item.

The Mushroom Swiss burger, the A1 Thick and Hearty Burger, or perhaps the Southern Bacon Double, many have a favorite that they want back. Unfortunately, the menu can only hold so many items, and they haven't stayed forever. So, this new item might be one that people could miss soon if they don't get it when it comes out soon.

What Is The Bacon Wrangler Double From Whataburger?

According to company itself, the item will become available on August 5th, 2025. Whataburger stated in the official announcement the burger will have "100% American beef patties with bacon, Monterey Jack and American cheeses, pickles, crispy onion strings and chipotle aioli." So that might sound pretty good to many in the state of Texas.

Debbie Stroud, The CEO and President of Whataburger also stated:
