It's almost fall here in the state of Texas. Many are looking forward to cooler temperatures and mostly being able to walk outside. But, there's also light shows on the horizon that some in the state, specifically Austin, Texas, can attend, and they're even themed!

What Kind Of Light Show Is Coming To Austin, Texas?

Austin is no stranger to things being weird. After all, the city's slogan is "Keep Austin Weird." So, in keeping with that tradition, a movie with strange characters and an interesting setting will have a themed light show in the area.

The movie you ask? None other than "The Nightmare Before Christmas." Yes, Jack, Sally, and Oogie Boogie will be making appearances in Austin, Texas, per ATXToday.

When Will The Event Take Place And How Can One Attend?

As reported by ATXToday, the light show will take place at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Tickets are set to go on sale Friday August 15th, 2025 and can be bought here at the Texas Performing Arts website.

As for when the experience will begin, it'll be a bit later than when you can get tickets to see it. The event will begin on September 25, 2025, which is a Thursday. It will go until November 30th, 2025.

This is a also a big deal for Austin and the state of Texas as a whole. Why is that? Well, the only other place in the nation holding the same event is none other than the Big Apple, AKA New York City.

So, it looks like Austin will get both weird and festive for the fall and winter. But to prepare for the show...how about a song?
